Founded in 2007 by Juliana Guzman and Arnaud Bughon, Rio Exclusive began by renting temporary accommodations to visitors to Rio de Janeiro, as an alternative to staying in a hotel.

After several months, they decided to focus their attention on the high end market - which at the time was totally non-existent. The site of Rio Exclusive (www.rioexclusive.com) was first live in August of 2007. Since then, the company has expanded to offer accommodations in many parts of Rio de Janeiro, a concierge service that can assist you at any time before or during your holiday, and a travel agency which opens the doorway to the rest of Brazil and South America.
